Working to raise awareness for Heart Failure with Novartis, we met a patient in Ireland to interview him, record his voice and capture his likeness. From this, we created a handmade, life-size sculpture that we adapted to become a chatbot where you could have a conversation with him about heart failure and he would answer in his own voice. He has been exhibited in Paris and Basel since and had hundreds of conversations. The videos we took of Mike during the process were shared on Facebook where other patients, caregivers and the healthcare community could hear from his experiences and thoughts on a wide range of matters related to heart failure. These have been seen by over 100,000 people.
